Yoga for women
The woman’s class addresses the three main issues in every woman’s lifespan: menstruation as the beginning of womanhood, pregnancy as consolidation and menopause that can be seen as a gateway to full maturity in one’s life eventually leading to a healthy, happy and fulfilling old age.
The class is dynamic and restorative with an emphasis on asanas that are beneficial in promoting health and well being in all the phases of a woman’s life.
The class is inspired by B.K.S. Iyengar and Geeta Iyengar’s practical and philosophical approach to yoga.
One year of Iyengar yoga experience is required.
