COVID-19: measurements

Dear Students and Teachers,

As you are aware, government has announced there be a maximum of 100 people at any location and gathering. The good news is we will remain open, as less than 100 students attend the studio in one day.

The following are some precautions we can take to minimize the spread of COVID-19.

  • Students and teachers are to take extra care in cleaning the mats before and after use with the recently enhanced cleaning solution provided at the studio.
  • Wash your hands before and after class.
  • Use a tissue to sneeze and/or cough into, dispose and wash your hands afterwards.
  • Sneezing more than three times in class is an invitation to go home.
  • Please bring a towel with you to be placed on the props.
  • If possible, bring your own yoga mat.

Please take extra care of your self and others, should you have a cold, coughing, sneezing or are feeling unwell, stay home until the symptoms have abated.

As well, the school has added extra precautions in disinfecting surface areas.

To recap, we all need to take part in preventing the virus from thriving by exercising the following precautions.
Wash hands as often as possible; avoid handshakes and touching your face.
Stay hydrated. Eat well. Sleep well. Practice yoga. Enjoy life. Repeat.
And, if you happen to be feeling under the weather, have a bowl of chicken soup like Grandma used to make.

“A life lived in fear is a life half lived.”
